Nothing beats an early morning fishing trip with my daughter Anna. Got up at 4:30 AM to be fishing for steelhead in Lake Michigan by 5 AM. My son Lyle, Blaine, and buddy Tanner had been skunked earlier this week so I was determined to be successful today. After our hopes started to wane after an hour or so of famine Anna hooked a monster. It was quite the fighter but when she finally landed it on the Bruce Boat II everyone got so excited we nearly tipped the boat. What a great morning. The fish are running in Michigan City, Indiana!
